We really enjoy the PBS series Curious George and were inspired by an episode where George learns about dam building.  So we made use of a little drainage ditch in our yard and had a grand time making a little dam of our own!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We're SO thankful for YOU, our friends and family!  We're SO thankful for God's salvation and the freedom to worship Him in spirit and truth.

         I know this isn't the best quality picture, but I wanted to show you our Thanksgiving Wreath this year.  I dislike how Thanksgiving is only a single day.  This Thanksgiving wreath is our way of cultivating a grateful spirit during the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving.  At the beginning of the month we hang the empty wreath.  Each evening every family member makes a "Thankful Leaf" and hangs it up.  Jonathan's first leaf this year was for "Leaves."  Our wreath is now so heavy with leaves that several are falling off every day!  I feel like we've really named and savored our blessings so that when Thanksgiving Day rolls around, our hearts are prepared!
